Special Notes: Leather is a natural product that is very strong and durable and should last a lifetime with proper conditioning. However, please inspect the leash on a regular basis before using for both you and your dog's safety - especially if you have a strong pulling dog. If any parts are worn or broken, please do not use and consider a replacement or repair.

Hermann Oak's famous Old World Harness Leather is a traditional natural vegetable tanned leather commonly used in making horse reins. It provides for exceptional weather wear and durability. It has a smooth top surface and a natural unfinished underside. This leather will continue to age and flex the more it is handled over time.

Hardware
All the hardware is low-lead solid brass which is strong and corrosion resistant. Brass is extremely durable and tends to bend before it would break. I prefer to use permanently attached chicago screws as the fasteners for added strength in the leashes.

- Handle opening is about 6 inches
