EXTRA GRIP STYLE - Made from two straps of leather combined at the handle. Gives a thicker "throat" to grab where the handle and leash meet with the Chicago Screws. This is my personal preference.

TRADITIONAL STYLE - Made from one continuous piece of leather.

Special Notes: Leather is a natural product that is very strong and durable and should last a lifetime with proper conditioning. However, please inspect the leash on a regular basis before using for both you and your dog's safety - especially if you have a strong pulling dog. If any parts are worn or broken, please do not use and consider a replacement or repair.

Leather and Materials

Water buffalo leather is a smooth, matte vegetable tanned leather commonly used in applications that require durability and longevity like boots. It has a smooth and consistent top surface with a refinished or "gum pasted" underside. Water buffalo leather will continue to soften, flex, and develop a beautiful patina the more it is handled over time.

Hardware

All the hardware is low-lead solid brass which is strong and corrosion resistant. Brass is extremely durable and tends to bend before it would break. I prefer to use permanently attached chicago screws as the fasteners for added strength in the leashes.

- 3/4 inch wide x 4 mm thick x about 62 inches long (give or take an inch - remember, they are hand-made and cut!)
- The bolt snap is 3.25 inches long
